French Study Abroad
Watch lessons come to life.
No matter how many years you’ve studied French, it’s possible you don’t truly know the language and culture until you’ve traveled to a French-speaking country. And what better time to make that trip than when you’re in college? You’ll have a group to travel with, time to explore – and a chance to earn credits toward your degree. Talk about a win-win.
The French study abroad program takes you to Paris and Lille. You see many of the country’s highlights during a week in Paris – as well as treasures such as Giverny and Versailles – and then you’ll travel to the city of Lille for one month to study at the European Summer Program at the Catholic University of Lille.
Classes are held during the week and are taught by local faculty. You can earn up to six credits by taking a language skills course as well as an additional course in European politics, French art and society, French culture and society or European business and management.
